How did you get into the world of puzzling?
At the end of 2020, I was looking for something to keep me busy.
Back in 2018, my husband and I decided to take on a puzzle together. We finished the puzzle and that was that. We bought more but never did them. I started puzzling again on my own in 2020 and the rest is history. I’ve had slow periods where puzzling takes a backseat during hectic moments in life, but it’s always there.

What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
It has this therapeutically addictive quality to it. Each piece is so satisfying and a whole puzzles is such a treat! I love piecing back together beautiful artwork. Almost feels like you get to be a part of the creative process too. I try to spend a little time each day working on a puzzle. It’s always something I look forward to after a long day.

What is your favorite type of puzzle?
Since becoming a mom recently, 500 pieces are my go to. However, always down for the occasional 1000 piece. I refer ribbon cut, but love a good quality random cut. I’m open to variation, as long as the quality is good. I tend to only go for illustrations, that are cozy, cute, animal or food centred. Currently, trying to branch out more.

During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
I usually have a documentary going in the background. If not, I like to put on a playlist to listen to. It typically consists of J Cole, Central Cee, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter and a little T-Pain.

If you were to describe what puzzling means to you, what would it be?
Peace

Tell us about your other interests & joys.
When I’m not working, or taking care of my little one, I am cuddled up with a puzzle, a new crochet project or out 10-pin bowling with my husband. I am equally obsessed with all of them, and I feel so lucky to have such fun hobbies.

Do you have anything you want to share?
My inbox is always open if anyone needs help or has questions on anything puzzle related. I will gladly assist with any questions I can. Otherwise, just remember, there is no one right way to do a puzzle. Enjoy the process and the results will be even more rewarding.
