Tell us about what your ordinary day looks like.
I usually do some work related to teaching each day. I incorporate some physical exercise by walking, hiking, or pickleballing. I often socialize with friends and/or family throughout the week and also enjoy Bible studies as well. Puzzling is something I like to do in the evenings to wind down from the day’s activities.

How did you get into the world of puzzling?
My mom bought me a floor puzzle of Winnie the Pooh when I was little and when she realized I had potential, I started receiving more puzzles as a kid. Eventually, I grew to love it as a hobby and the rest is history!

What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
Honestly, puzzling is the hobby that has kept me sane during moments of feeling lost in my life, the hobby that makes me happy during health trials, and gives me a purpose lately because of the content creation I’m able to explore on the Instagram page. I usually puzzle 2-3 times a week either alone or with friends.

What is your favorite type of puzzle?
The bigger the puzzle, the more I want to challenge myself to complete it. I’ve completed a 32,000 and 60,000 piece puzzle and am currently working on a 40,000 piece puzzle. My favorite types though include color gradient puzzles just like the one Soonness has in their color series. I’ve also really enjoyed getting into puzzles that are unique and one of a kind or out of the box concept.

During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
I like to listen to music or ASMR videos, watch movies, or listen to a sermon while I puzzle. Sometimes I have nothing in the background if I want to have time to process my thoughts.

If you were to describe what puzzling means to you, what would it be?
Puzzling = Peace
