What's your name?
Tracy Williams
Where are you from?
San Francisco Bay Area
When did you start puzzling?
I've loved puzzles since I was a child. I still have the round Winnie the Pooh Disney puzzle that my Grandmother kept at her house for us to work on together.
What is your favorite piece count and why?
There was a time that I would have said 1,000 piece puzzles were my favorite piece count, but now I like different piece counts for different reasons... 100 piece puzzles are great for traveling and small spaces; 500 piece puzzles are my go to when I want to feel super fast and super successful; and I like 1,500/2,000 piece puzzles when I want to feel the joy of an epic conquest.
What is your favorite type of art?
I like bright colors, fun patterns, and happy/optimistic themes.
What makes you keep puzzling and how often do you puzzle?
I keep puzzling because it helps me sort out my thoughts and gives me hope that difficult problems in life can be solved with patience and perseverance. I puzzle almost every night.
What is your go to drink/snack when you puzzle?
I don't usually snack because I don't like the feeling that I am getting my pieces dirty or sticky. I keep any drinks far from the puzzle action because *ahem* I have spilled on my puzzle before and needed extensive therapy to overcome my devastation.
Tell us a little bit about your other joys.
I love watching my kids expand into their own lives, I love learning how to grow various flowers, and I love filling the birdfeeders every day and watching our own little wildlife habitat develop.
