Big Restaurant

Big Restaurant was my first puzzle by Soonness and I must say it put the bar really high. The illustration is to die for (Omurice! Pancakes!)

I love the new ribbon-random-cut used for the newer puzzles but these pieces are just beautifully made with a nice satin finish and perfect thickness, plus the pattern on the back which is a nice surprise.

Beautiful puzzle!! I love that the pieces are matte so I’m able to do it under a light without a reflection. The only issue I had was the the illustration on the top of the puzzle pieces peeled away for the base easily. If a piece got stuck to another they did not disconnect well, even when gently trying to pull them apart. Pretty nerve wracking taking the puzzle apart after I finished because the pieces don’t separate easily and I was afraid of peeling.
