Tell us about what your ordinary day looks like.
A typical day for me is an early wake up to fit some exercise in before work (hike up our local mountain or mountain bike ride). I then commute to work via bus or bike & spend my 8am-4pm working for the Queensland Government. I specialize in events, Protocol and international relations, so no day is the same! I'll usually spend my lunch break reading a good fantasy book. Back home by 5pm and it's time to relax. This could be a puzzle, a book, or just relaxing on our back deck. Then to bed by 8.30/9pm (I'm an early bird)!

How did you get into the world of puzzling?
I've always puzzled as a kid. I actually have a very vivid memory of my first ever puzzle present for Christmas one year. A double sided Star Wars puzzle in the shape of Darth Vader's helmet! The hobby just kept on growing from there.

What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
Joining puzzlegram has kept me puzzling, and really prioritizing it as a hobby! Having a space to share and create is truly wonderful. Depending on how busy work & life is, I like to puzzle every other day.

What is your favorite type of puzzles?
1000 pieces. I love anything with unique puzzle cuts and blocks of colour!

During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
Oooh that's tricky. It definitely depends on my mood, but if I am listening to something it's probably ZAYN or Marc E Bassy.

If you were to describe what puzzling means to you, what would it be?
Shutting off my mind

Tell us about your other interests & joys.
I'm an avid fantasy reader and mountain biker. As I fill this interview out, I've just landed in Queenstown NZ for a 2 week riding trip - I love sharing a hobby with my partner.

Do you have anything you want to share?
Just a big thank you to the puzzle community, and all of the wonderful brands (like soonness!) who continually keep up the good work bringing out exciting new puzzles for us all.
