Tell us about what your ordinary day looks like.
Our days are always full!
We're a family of 4, with an 8-year-old boy who loves tennis, a 5-year-old daughter who spends hours playing in her imaginary worlds, a dad who's a sports fanatic and me, who loves puzzles. It's a race from morning to night between school, work, activities, friends, etc... but we each keep our passion a little bit each day.
How did you get into the world of puzzling?
I've always loved puzzles and used to do them from time to time.
With the pace of life as a Parisian mom, I needed a refuge for myself, and that's when puzzles began to take on an increasingly important role. With beautiful sites, inspiring Instagram accounts and all these incredible brands in the puzzle world, I've immersed myself in this universe and love to keep sailing in it.
What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
I puzzle mostly every day, whether it's a few pieces or a full 1000 pieces.
I have 4 puzzle passions in fact!
1. The discovery: puzzle lovers like me are so lucky to be able to constantly discover new brands, new illustrators and then follow the new collections.
2. Desire puzzles: wait for new releases, select the ones I want to see on my board, then wait impatiently for them to arrive at home!
3. Do the puzzles!
4. Sharing all of the above with my puzzle friends and with this amazing, lively and kind community.
What is your favorite type of puzzles?
I actually love having the possibility to do many different kinds of puzzles : a mini puzzle when I just have 10 minutes, 500 pieces puzzle when I only have an hour or two (I think we need more of them!) or a beautiful 1000 pieces. Also, I love to spoil myself with wooden puzzles. I love all the possibilities we have!
During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
My preference goes to silence but I sometimes listen to music or podcasts!
If you were to describe what puzzling means to you, what would it be?
It's a time for myself only and it's precious. It's also about sharing, something that is very strong in the jigsaw community. I am incredibly lucky to be surrounded by an amazing French puzzle community and more global as well of course.
Tell us about your other interests & joys.
I love spending time with my family of course.
I also have amazing friends with who we always spend great evenings with champagne and great wines. I also love biking, running and hiking in the summer in the Alps.
