Tell us about what your ordinary day looks like.
By day I am a project manager so I am staring at screens for the majority of the week! In the evenings I love to unwind with a puzzle to enjoy some screen-free time. You will also likely find me hanging out with my cats and playing board games!
How did you get into the world of puzzling?
I enjoyed puzzling with my mum as a child. We would have a makeshift puzzle board set out on the kitchen table and complete over a few days/week. We for some reason stopped at some point and I didn't do a puzzle for many many years until my mum gifted me a custom puzzle of my cat for my birthday 5 years ago and I fell back in love with puzzling!
What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
I try to puzzle most evenings, I keep puzzling because I find it so relaxing since it helps to quiet my incredibly noisy brain! There are so many amazing artists and artworks out there to discover and puzzle, it makes me happy to celebrate that!
What is your favorite type of puzzle?
My favourite piece counts are 500 and 1000. I really enjoy cute illustrations with quirky characters and food!
During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
I typically have the TV on in the background, maybe a comfort show or a documentary that I can listen to.
If you were to describe what puzzling means to you, what would it be?
Tranquility and Community
Tell us about your other interests & joys.
My other big hobby is board games! I have a large collection and play most weekends with my partner. I also enjoy reading, travelling and putting Lego sets together.
Do you have anything you want to share?
I am so happy to be part of a wonderful online community, primarily on Instagram, of like minded people who share the same love for puzzles that I do.
