Tell us about what your ordinary day looks like.
I'm a wife, and a mum of 2 young girls. I'm very family focused. My day normally consists of getting the girls ready for the day, take them to school, then I go to work! Once I finish work, I collect them from school, come home, and sort dinner out. Home life is very busy. Aside from the normal household chores, I take the girls to karate twice a week, and spend time with my husband. If there is ever any spare time in an evening, that is my time to puzzle!
How did you get into the world of puzzling?
I have loved puzzles from a young age. I'd forever have puzzles all over the floor in my bedroom, with my mum shouting at me that she can't vacuum my floor properly with all the pieces everywhere! I did have some long breaks as I grew into a young adult and when my children were babies. Life took over almost. But the love for jigsaw puzzles were always there!
What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
All the images and gorgeous puzzles out there. There are an endless amount of beautiful vibrant puzzles calling my name - I have to have them all!! I try and puzzle a little bit every single day. I even puzzle at work on my desk during my breaks!!!
What is your favorite type of puzzle?
My favourite puzzle would be something which is colourful with grid pieces. Most important is a great fit! I love a puzzle where I can pick up sections and move them around. Also puzzles that makes me feel calm! Nothing too busy and no random shaped pieces for me.
During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
I love watching movies with my daughters whilst puzzling. They sit next to me and do arts and crafts or draw. It's our favourite time! Sometimes my brain feels tired from work and I will just pop the best of Abba on the Alexa! Being Swedish and all, we must play the best of Sweden, right?
If you were to describe what puzzling means to you, what would it be?
Puzzling is part of my life. I adore every moment of It. It's not a chore. It's pure happiness. Puzzling to me makes me happy, clears my mind, and takes away stress, worry and sadness. I look forward to it every day!
Tell us about your other interests & joys.
My family is my joy. I love spending time with them! I enjoy watching movies with my girls. But luckily that is something I can do whilst puzzling. Apart from that I do pole dancing. I love it so much!
Do you have anything you want to share?
If I'm not puzzling, I'm talking about puzzles. And if I'm not talking about puzzles, then I'm looking at new ones to buy! My life my puzzle!
