Tell us about what your ordinary day looks like.
I’m an occupational therapist. I work four 10 hour days that include weekends. Therefore, my week looks a bit different than most. I do like my longer work days to have three days off during the week. I love having the opportunity to help people and make their lives better.
How did you get into the world of puzzling?
I had a great aunt and uncle who always had a puzzle going on their table. I wasn’t very good at puzzles as a child but as an adult, I grew to love them. I really got into them during Covid as a way to pass the time in my home. That’s when I started my Instagram page and really started puzzling weekly.
What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
Puzzling is a way to control my anxiety as well as fill a need for a creative outlet. I usually have two puzzles going at a time at home and puzzle whenever I have free time.
What is your favorite type of puzzle?
I enjoy 500 to 1000 piece puzzles the most, but really I’ll do any puzzle that captures my attention. I enjoy puzzles that have a lot of detail and hidden treasures.
During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
I usually have the television on or I listen to music when I puzzle.
If you were to describe what puzzling means to you, what would it be?
A calming avenue for an anxious soul.
