Tell us about what your ordinary day looks like.
I am a community college administrator managing a team of people who provide grants to students who are focusing on job training. I am married and have a 27 year old stepchild and two cats named Chaos and Scoot.
How did you get into the world of puzzling?
In 2022 I gave a wooden puzzle as a gift and was so curious, I bought one for myself. I enjoyed it so much I had to do more puzzles. Daily puzzling has occurred ever since.
What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
I puzzle on my couch on a jigthings puzzle table after dinner and into the evening. Most nights my cat, Chaos, snuggles on my lap. I enjoy the process of solving the puzzle and finding that next piece.
What is your favorite type of puzzles?
I enjoy original artwork puzzles that can be sorted. I don't mind referring to the image, but I also like to be able to watch the artwork come together in a meditative sort of way.
During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
I puzzle with the television watching a favorite program or puzzle videos. Sometimes a puzzle along video is nice too - it's like puzzling with a friend.

Tell us about your other interests & joys.
Outside of puzzling my husband and I have a small antique business, and we enjoy weekends away with friends. On our trips we enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
