Tell us about what your ordinary day looks like.
I wake up and start my morning with a fresh cup of coffee. My two bloodhounds are never far behind, ready to greet the day. I head off to work and return home in the evening to a full house with my dogs and my children. I wind down by working on a puzzle as a way to relax and destress.
How did you get into the world of puzzling?
I’ve loved puzzling since I was a kid. During the winter months, my mom, my brothers, and I would sit around the table working on puzzles together. Now, I carry on that tradition with my own children, and it’s become a special part of our time together. And just recently, as my children have grown older and started moving out and away to college, I have started puzzling solo in my free time everyday.
What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
What keeps me puzzling is the endless variety and there are a million cool puzzles out there I still want to do. Each one feels like a new challenge and a chance to unwind. I love the satisfaction of watching the picture come together, piece by piece. And I puzzle every single day!
What is your favorite type of puzzle?
My favorite type of puzzle is a 1000 piece. I love random cut puzzles, high quality images, thick pieces, and images that are created by artists themselves.
During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
I love listening to audiobooks while puzzling. I love romantic comedy, thrillers, and historical fiction.
If you were to describe what puzzling means to you, what would it be?
It’s more than just a hobby, it’s a community, a stress reliever, a brain teaser, and a daily dose of joy!
Tell us about your other interests & joys.
My other interests and joys are my family and fur babies, audio books, gardening, and beach days.
Do you have anything you want to share?
Puzzling reminds me that life is about patience, persistence, and the joy of seeing pieces—whether small or large—come together to create something meaningful.
