Tell us about what your ordinary day looks like.
Since welcoming my son two years ago, I’ve been mostly on a ‘learning to parent’ mode and squeezing in some graphic design work for my existing clients whenever my little one sleeps. I am also a part of the “sandwich generation”, doing as much as I can to care for my aging parents, mostly my bedridden mom with dementia.
How did you get into the world of puzzling?
I have always liked puzzles even as a child. I received my first 1000-piece puzzle from my aunt as a gift 30 years ago.
What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
Honestly, I haven’t puzzled since high school. But recently, I have been seeing my favorite artists on puzzles. This seems like a good chance for me to pick up an old hobby and at the same time owning a piece of their artwork.
What is your favorite type of puzzles?
My favorite would be the 1000-piece and right now, I’m really into art puzzles.
During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
I have gotten my husband into puzzling as well and we do it over hot chocolate and light banter.
If you were to describe what puzzling means to you, what would it be?
A time for me to unwind and enjoy something I like (hard to come by these days with a toddler).

I find escape in books, pleasure in cooking, adventure in exploring places and healing in eating.
