Tell us about what your ordinary day looks like.
I work as a laboratory technician in peptide based research. In my freetime I walk long distance routes and attend different march events. When I am not out marching, I love puzzling for hours and hours.
How did you get into the world of puzzling?
My mom has been puzzling a lot since she was a child and one year I gave her a Jan Van Haastern puzzle that we solved together. Since then I've been puzzling on & off for many years, and recently I got more into puzzling again after I fell and broke my arm. Doing puzzles made the days go by fast and I quickly remembered why I loved puzzling so much.
What makes you keep puzzling & how often do you puzzle?
I keep on doing puzzles because it really makes me take my mind of everything else. I can be in my own little world and there is no worries and no stress. It´s a calm place and the hours just pass by as the puzzle progresses. At the moment I puzzle roughly 3-4 days a week, depending on the puzzle I am working on.
What is your favorite type of puzzles?
I prefer puzzles of different characters or comical puzzles as "Kitchen Life". 1000 pieces or more are my typical go to.
During puzzling sessions, do you listen to anything or puzzle in silence?
I sit with music or some kind of TV series running on my computer in the background. I prefer to have something to listen to while puzzling.
If you were to describe what puzzling means to you, what would it be?
Mentally calming.

As mentioned before I do long marches. Im currently doing a big march project this year, so that takes a lot of time. I also have four tortoises that I spend time caring for.
